Pretty happy my first trip to a classic single screen theatre was for a movie-for-movie-lovers-movie and even happier to have been there for the Q&A with Roger and director Alex Stapelton that followed. Great to get some insight into the making of the film itself and hear some first hand facts and tidbits from Roger… “sleep fast” was my personal favourite. Inspirational he’s still at it. Go check out Corman’s World if you get the chance, highly recommend watch.

In addition to the masses of amazing leg room, The Nuart also gets bonus points for screening The Trip as the midnight feature later that night, a tasty piece of psychedelic-exploito directed by Corman, starring Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper and written by Jack Nicholson. Hats off to Roger, Alex and The Nuart. A gold class night at the talkies.

This would have been amazing!!!
